SP JAIN'S EVENTS

On Friday, July 19, 2024, Pan Pacific Singapore hosted an Executive MBA Networking Night organised by the SP Jain School of Global Management. The event brought together alumni, faculty, and distinguished guests, marking an evening of discussions, speeches, and networking opportunities.

The evening started with a warm welcome and registration as attendees reconnected with their old acquaintances and made new relationships.

Dr Bhanu Ranjan, Assistant Dean of Executive MBA (EMBA) at SP Jain Singapore, began the event with a welcome address. She highlighted the importance of the networking night and the impact of the SP Jain community in the global business arena.

The video message from Dr Gary Stockport, Dean of the Executive MBA (EMBA) program was a sign of encouragement and appreciation for the alumni's continued contributions and the bright future of current students. He praised the program and urged alumni to stay engaged and contribute back to their alma mater, reinforcing the value of ongoing community involvement.

John Cheng, Founder and CEO of Innovate 360 and recipient of the Singaporean of the Year award in 2021, engaged the audience with his insights on leadership and innovation in his keynote address, "Leadership and Innovation: Driving Success in Singapore's Dynamic Business Ecosystem." He spoke about his journey in founding Singapore’s leading food accelerator. His reflections on visionary leadership and sustainable business practices resonated deeply, inspiring attendees to leverage their leadership roles to impact society positively.

Mamta Deshmukh, President of the Singapore Alumni Chapter, spoke about the strength and significance of the alumni network. She highlighted the importance of maintaining robust connections within the SP Jain community and encouraged active participation in alumni initiatives.

The evening progressed with dinner, which offered attendees an environment to engage in meaningful conversations, share personal experiences, and explore collaborative opportunities.

The Executive MBA Networking Night was a huge success, with 146 registrations and 128 attendees present. The event celebrated the accomplishments of SP Jain’s Executive MBA alumni while calling attention to the essential roles of leadership, innovation, and community in driving business success.
