At SP Jain, students are oriented about the local safety procedures, along with emergency contact details, both on-campus and off-campus.
Students are provided with anti-Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment training and are given the required support and assistance in case of any reported incident.
Student Well-being & Happiness program
SP Jain’s Student Well-being & Happiness program encourages students to develop interpersonal skills, which help them towards self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, as well as empathy skills. It offers a new focus on challenges and solutions on how to understand and help each other.
It also entails learning more about the science of Positive Psychology and designing initiatives around the same. The SP Jain Centre of Excellence for Happiness is a re-imagining of how individuals can best work and live together using core principles from the latest research findings from the Science of Happiness.
The counselling services are provided in a private and confidential space.
Counselling records are kept separate from academic, disciplinary and medical records to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.
Information obtained during counselling sessions will not be disclosed to anyone outside the Centre without your knowledge and written consent.

Roles and Responsibilities
The SP Jain Library is the key information resource for learning and research and is an area of quiet study and reflection. It aims to:
The Library has a business-focused collection of e-books, databases and academic journals as well as a substantial collection of print resources covering business, education, management and technology. You also have access to a selection of fiction, local culture (e.g. Australian) and audio-visual content.
Your access to the library online is via our learning management system Blackboard where you will also access all your subjects. You will see Knowledge Portal among the subjects you are enrolled in.
The electronic library is accessible online 24x7 from any location and features tens of thousands of e-books from ProQuest O’Reilly-Safari and ProQuest LibCentral Collections. You also have access to high-quality full-text materials from ProQuest Business complete and Ebsco’s Business Source collections as well as newspapers and magazines like The Financial Times, MIT Sloan and Harvard Business Review.
For research you have access to industry-standard data from Euromonitor GMID, Ebsco, ProQuest and you can access Thomson Reuters Eikon terminals on campus.
You can view the library collections via the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). From there, you can also reserve copies and check your library account. Please visit Blackboard Library Portal for details.
Students are responsible for the items they borrow and will receive email notification of any loans. Students who lose or return a damaged library resource must replace it at their own cost within 30 days.
Lost/damaged books and unpaid library fines would result in non-receipt of grades.
A maximum of 3 books may be borrowed at any one time with a valid SP Jain student ID card for 14 days.
Magazines and audio-visual items are available for short term loan of 7 days.
Reference books may be available on short term loan of no more than 2 days with the librarian’s permission. At least one copy is always available for library study.
Students may renew a loan in person or online. Items may be renewed twice unless requested by another borrower.
Overdue library resources would incur fine and students are advised to return items on time or request renewal to avoid unnecessary library fines.
Student ID Cards
Student ID cards are non-transferable and must not be lent for borrowing. Students are responsible for all items borrowed on their card till those items are returned to the librarian and checked off their record. If your card is lost or damaged, please report to the school immediately.

The School has integrated compulsory Business English Writing and Business Oral Communications in the core curriculum for most undergraduate courses. For postgraduate students, the School provides English language support workshops that are available for all students.
The School also recognises that some students will require additional specific language support identified at admission and will design additional English language support measures in collaboration with the School’s academic team.
SP Jain holds a particularly serious view on plagiarism and cheating in any form and will take appropriate steps to detect plagiarism including electronic plagiarism devices. Plagiarism consists of using the words or ideas of another, as if they were his or her own - without acknowledgement. The phrase 'using words or ideas of another' includes but is not limited to:
Students are also provided information on the constituents of academic misconduct during orientation by the academic staff including an overview of the e-learning system (Blackboard) and its detection mechanisms for plagiarism via SafeAssign software. Students will also receive training on the various components of what constitutes plagiarism.
To reiterate the importance of any academic misconduct or plagiarism, students sign an “Academic Code of Conduct Pledge” during orientation and before each term and examination.

General Examination Instructions for Students
All students who will appear for any exam in SP Jain School of Global Management will follow all examination guidelines as mentioned below.
We take great pride in ensuring that each student gets a good job at the end of their postgraduate program and is well placed for a successful career. Our Passport 2 Excellence program, or P2E, prepares students for this comprehensively. Our work with students as part of the P2E program involves pairing them with their individual career objectives, work experience, educational background and more importantly, positioning them for growth in their careers. P2E also covers leadership and communication training, professional presentation, voice and body language, and how students present themselves in a job interview. For students who wish to change their careers, P2E offers special assistance by training and educating them on their new primary industry of interest. This “soft knowledge” helps students have successful job interviews and adapt better to a new work environment.
Our multinational Career Services teams in Dubai, India, Singapore and Sydney play a very important role in helping students achieve their career goals. In the initial terms of the postgraduate programs, the teams expose students to corporate centres, business leaders and entrepreneurs through guest lectures, industry visits and projects in Dubai, Singapore and Sydney. In the final term, the teams help students build a strong career strategy and identify suitable roles and companies for them to apply to.
In an endeavour to encourage meritorious students, SP Jain offers scholarships to selective candidates joining our programs.
There are various levels of scholarships granted, based on a holistic view of the candidate’s profile. Candidates who receive scholarships must maintain a required CGPA and abide by the Code of Conduct during the course of the program. Scholarship decisions take place through a comprehensive, holistic review process and are at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
To apply for a scholarship, students need to tick the scholarship box on the online application and also comment in their essay about why they think they warrant financial assistance. Requests for a scholarship can also be sent by email.
