CAREER ACCELERATION AND ADAPTION
How do you lead your organisation to stay ahead of the competition in this fast-changing business landscape? An MBA could be your answer to thriving in this age of change. But we understand that busy working professionals often face hurdles balancing work and personal life with on-campus schedules, timetables, attendance and commute time.
SP Jain's Executive MBA (EMBA), taught in a virtual classroom, is an 18-month part-time program that offers you all the benefits of an on-campus MBA right at your doorstep, without having you leave the comfort of your home, job or city. Delivered through a state-of-the-art Engaged Learning Online (ELO) technology, the program is positioned to bring the dynamism and engagement of the SP Jain classroom online and in real time.
The program is flexible and structured in a way to help you find a balance between your personal and professional life while you pursue your MBA.
SP Jain’s EMBA has top international faculty, a globally diverse and highly experienced cohort, weekend schedule, and live online classes, all of which come together to give me the perfect learning experience. Attending classes through ELO has also been an amazing experience for me. We can actively interact with our peers using features like online polling, breakout rooms, chat boxes, virtual hand raise, and live in-class interaction – it's been amazing.
After much extensive research which included gathering data from corporates and alumni, we believe we have developed a truly world-class program which is at the leading edge of applied practice and theory. Some of the many new courses include Leadership and Cross-Cultural Management, and Corporate Governance and Ethics. New electives such as New Ventures, and Mergers and Acquisitions are being offered. Furthermore, a new specialisation is being offered in Entrepreneurship. In addition, ECAP (Executive Career Acceleration Program) has been integrated into the core curriculum, emphasising the strategic importance of all students enhancing their soft skills in order to become effective managers and leaders.
The EMBA curriculum is very comfortably paced and the content has been very well curated. It made me realise my untapped potential and capabilities over the last five months. It's a highly flexible course that seamlessly fits into your hectic work schedule while allowing you to enjoy your personal time as well.
Between juggling a career of being a project manager and the role of a mother, an online MBA helps me balance the two worlds. The ELO technology has been wonderful. We're sitting in the comfort of our house with our family and, at the same time, we're engaging with the class and the professors; so, there’s that one-to-one feeling. It's a virtual class environment where you don't feel lost. It's two-way communication.
Apart from the brilliant faculty and the global campuses in Sydney, Singapore, Dubai, and Mumbai, one of the most important features I liked about SP Jain was their ELO technology which allowed us to get a classroom experience even from our homes. You can even break out to communicate and collaborate with your classmates and, in many ways, it’s so much better than an on-campus experience!
I was thrilled to see that the SP Jain EMBA classroom is highly diverse, with my classmates coming from industries like pharma, IT, hospitality, media and BFSI. Even those who are from similar industries are part of very different businesses with contrasting goals, and this diversity has helped me understand global business models and their applications. Classroom discussions with my peers have made me realise that there is no shortage of learning from individuals – personally or professionally.
ELO gives you the flexibility to travel without compromising on your education. I took my first lecture from Varanasi, the next one from the airport and then from other cities. I have taken lectures from 5 different cities to date. ELO helps you attend classes and connect from anywhere. It is global. It is engaging. It has helped us work in groups. We can speak, give class presentations, chat with our professors, get our results online, conduct surveys – what else would you need? That’s what technology is meant for.
ELO was a revelation and it beat my expectation by a mile. The class participation it generates is as good, if not even better, than a physical classroom. Without a doubt, this is the classroom of tomorrow, right here, today.
