BrainSim 2021: SP Jain hosts virtual inter-school business simulation competition

 

SP Jain School of Global Management organised the sixth edition of BrainSim, a multi-player business simulation competition, on November 12, 2021. It is one of the biggest inter-school competitions in the UAE and a great platform for students to showcase their potential and bring recognition to their school.

20 schools participated in BrainSim 2021, and more than 100 students were present at the final round of simulation.

It is one of the biggest inter-school competitions in the UAE and a great platform for students to showcase their potential and bring recognition to their school.

20 schools participated in BrainSim 2021, and more than 100 students were present at the final round of simulation.

The event was hosted virtually through the Engaged Learning Online (ELO) platform that offered students a virtual and real-time classroom experience.

The business simulation competition was conducted by Nitin Patwa (Associate Professor, Director – Simulation and Deputy Director of Undergraduate Programs – Dubai, SP Jain). As part of the simulation, students were divided into teams and were asked to analyse business situations similar to real-life scenarios.

The Champions of BrainSim 2021 were:

  • Sriniwas Garg (The Millennium School, Dubai)
  • Shehzad Shihab (GEMS United Indian School)
  • Shania D’costa (St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai),
  • Shrevatsya Rastogi (St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai)

1st Runners Up of BrainSim 2021 were:

  • Shreya Hazra (GEMS United Indian School)
  • Gautham Binoy (GEMS United Indian School)
  • Jessica Lis Liju (GEMS United Indian School)
  • Najeeha Amatul Momin (St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai)
  • Glen Paul (St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai)

2nd Runners Up of BrainSim 2021 were:

  • Ashish Arun (St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai)
  • Fida Rafi (Abu Dhabi Indian School)
  • Hana Aneez (St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai)
  • Harsimar Singh (GEMS Millennium School, Sharjah)
  • Mohammed Ali Asghar Katabjiwala (GEMS Millennium School, Sharjah)

GEMS United Indian School had the highest participation.

The event concluded with an exclusive workshop for school counsellors. On November 13, 2021, Dr Christopher Abraham (Professor and Head of Campus – Dubai, SP Jain) conducted a workshop on “From Surviving to Thriving – A Neuroscience Perspective” for more than 20 school counsellors.
