SP Jain’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students of the September 2021 intake have sailed halfway through the World Cultures course and have started to adapt to be culturally sensitive and prepare to lead tomorrow. SP Jain organised a virtual guest session on November 9, 2021, with Ashok Nayak to provide more industry insights to students on this subject. Mr Nayak is the Business Director for ENU, Integrated Digital, Engineering and Application Services at Wipro Limited (iDEAS).

October 5, 2021, was a noteworthy day in the journey of SP Jain’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students of the September 2021 intake as they had their first guest session with Kaustuv Roy (Managing Director of Business Solutions). Mr Roy has 30 years of rich experience in the real estate industry. He has worked in the USA, Philippines, and India and travelled across the world for business.

We are thrilled to share that Dr Priti Bakhshi (Associate Professor, SP Jain School of Global Management) has been conferred the Gold Award for Best Research Paper in the Finance category at the International Research Awards 2021 organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

The research paper on ‘Volatility in International Stock Markets: An Empirical Study during COVID-19’ has been co-authored by Dr Priti Bakhshi, Dr Rashmi Chaudhary and Dr Hemendra Gupta. The paper has been published in the Journal of Risk and Financial Management and listed in ISI Thomson Clarivate Analytics and ABDC indexes.

On July 24, 2021, 197 students from our Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Data Science cohorts and 165 students from our Master of Global Business, Global MBA, Executive MBA and cohorts graduated and crossed yet another significant milestone! SP Jain School of Global Management hosted a guest session with Dhanushkodi Sivanandhan, Maharashtra’s former Director General of Police and founder of an NGO, on the role of NGOs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The session was organised for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students of the Mumbai cohort on April 6, 2021. It was facilitated by Professor Shrinivas Shikaripurkar (Adjunct Faculty at SP Jain) as part of his subject ‘Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility’.
