SP Jain welcomed the new batch of Executive MBA (EMBA) students to the Singapore campus on July 30-31, 2022, at an orientation ceremony. Students in the Batch 23 cohort came with an average work experience of 16 years, and their profiles ranged from mid-level to C-Suite level.

The event started with a lamp lighting ceremony at SP Jain in the presence of:
- Dr Gary Stockport (Dean, EMBA)
- Dr A Seetharaman (Dean, Academic Affairs)
- Ms Rashmi Udaykumar (Director – Campus Administration & Admissions, Singapore)
- Dr Veena Jadhav (Associate Dean (MGB), Associate Prof (Leadership & HRM)
- Dr Bhanu Ranjan (Assistant Dean, Executive MBA– Singapore)
It was followed by the SP Jain prayer which was recited by Ms Jessica Woon (Assistant Manager-Executive MBA Online) and Mr Randy Guzman, a student from the current batch.
Dr Bhanu Ranjan facilitated the key staff that will be part of the support system of the cohort in their learning journey. One of the key takeaways in Dr Gary's inspiring welcome address was - 'value create' for others. The orientation ceremony also gave the students an opportunity to network with their alums and listen to their experiences.
