SP Jain School of Global Management kickstarted the end of 2018 on a memorable note with an engaging alumni-driven session at its last Xpressions Talk of the year on 28th November. Having the pleasure of hosting 45 guests at the Singapore campus, the evening had two key speakers – Mr. Mustafa Rasheed, Project Head at SME Centre@Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) and current SP Jain Executive MBA (EMBA) student, and Mr. Priveen Raj Naidu, CEO at Reapra Aviation Partners.

It was a milestone for SP Jain School of Global Management as we partnered with two ivy league universities – Harvard University and Columbia University – for a joint alumni event on 23rd October 2018.

On 6th February, our Dubai campus organized a guest lecture for the Postgraduate students by Rashmee Raghu (MGB Class of 2017). Rashmee is currently working as a Supply Chain Executive with WJ Towell & Co. LLC at Enhance UAE.

During her talk, Rashmee shared her personal experience while studying at SP Jain, giving an insight into what one should aim for without getting distracted. She reiterated the importance of learning in class, since the students at SP Jain get access to some of the best faculty members and peers.

On 16 December 2018, SP Jain’s Alumni Community came together in Dubai to celebrate the prestigious Forbes Rankings. With numerous performances and joyful reunions, the event was truly spectacular. The alumni had a great time meeting old classmates, renewing friendships, catching up with the alma mater, and sharing memories.

The BBA students attended an inspirational talk by Jessica Cox, the world’s first armless pilot, at the MES Theatre at Mediacorp on 27th January 2018. The 34-year-old, who was born with a rare non-genetic birth defect, has never let her disability hold her back.

SP Jain Alumni from various courses across different batches came together in India at three different cities to celebrate the prestigious Forbes ranking. Held across Delhi (30^th November), Mumbai (2^nd December), and Bangalore (3^rd December), the events happened at Eros Hotel, SP Jain’s Mumbai Campus, and ITC Windsor, respectively.

On 10th November, SP Jain’s diverse alumni community came together at its Sydney campus to celebrate the recent Forbes rankings. MBA programs are recognized through rankings by prestigious publications like Financial Times, The Economist and Forbes, and SP Jain School of Global Management has been the youngest school to be ranked by all three. For the last 5 consecutive years, SP Jain’s Global MBA program has been ranked among the world’s Top 20 1-year International MBAs by the American publication, Forbes.
