BACHELOR OF DATA SCIENCE
As a Bachelor of Data Science (BDS) student at SP Jain Global, you will become part of a dynamic, diverse and high-calibre student community leading to unique peer-to-peer learning experiences. Here are some notable achievements of our students from the September 2018 intake:
- 1 student participated in a competition track on humanoid robotics at the Indian Institute of Science, India in January 2019
- 2 students have been accepted to the Grace Hopper Conference (GHC) 2018, Bengaluru, India for Women in Engineering
- 4 students did a project on AWS DeepLens – an AI camera. The project involved training the AI camera with data on human movements
- 6 students did a project on Intel Movidius NCS – an AI device. The project was bookmarked by Intel's AI Researcher – Dr. Moloney
- 8 students did projects on sound fingerprinting on Google AIY & Raspberry Pi that involved developing a Google home device prototype from scratch
- 18 students participated in hackathons on Ethical Hacking at IIT Bombay Techfest, India
- Students have got the opportunity to intern at the IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur and Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in India
