MoM: Fees

• ****To facilitate coverage of health insurance during your stay in Australia (a mandatory requirement for the Australian Student Visa) the School has tied up with Bupa, Australia for the OSHC policy. The premium for 2 years is to be paid upfront as it is mandatory to take the policy for 2 years.
• Health insurance charges mentioned are indicative. Actual figures would be billed at the commencement of each year.
• VAT @ 5% is charged on the applicable component for Dubai.
• Compulsory Program Fees (Tuition and Non-Tuition) detailed above do not include:
  
  
  • Airfare
  • Housing or other living expenses
  • Personal laptop required for study
• Post completion of your degree, should you require KHDA attestation for your degree and transcripts (for students living or proposing to work in Dubai, UAE), the certificates will be given to you after the attestation which will take a month from your date of graduation. There is a cost to be borne by students for the KHDA attestation which will be communicated to you at the time of graduation (at present, the cost is AED 220).
  
  

• Dubai and Singapore visa:
  
  
  • Exception – Students who do not need a visa for Dubai or Singapore (e.g. residents/PR holders, etc.) need not pay visa charges.
  • On completing the program in Dubai, the visa would need to be cancelled. The visa charge covers the cancellation charge.
  • Visa process for Dubai and Singapore would be facilitated by SP Jain on receipt of all fees.
• Australia visa:
  
  Students would be personally responsible for obtaining the visa. Visa fees would be paid by students as applicable. Students are required to demonstrate sufficient financial resources to cover their expenses towards tuition fees, living, travel and/or any other personal expenses. We recommend that students familiarise themselves of the visa requirements to ensure their eligibility for issuance of a student visa. • Advance Acceptance fee are payable per the due date given in the offer letter.
• This Advance Acceptance Fee will be a part of the Tuition fees payable by you. Kindly take note that the Advance Acceptance Fee shall not be refunded under any circumstance.
• The tuition fees are to be paid in 2 instalments – 50% per semester.
• Where a student chooses, more than 50% of tuition fees can be paid before the program commences.
• Due dates for semester fee payments are:
  
  
  • Semester 1: December 01, 2024
  • Semester 2: April 01, 2025
• All other fees are to be paid prior to the commencement of the program/academic year.
• The School shall levy interest @ 15% p.a. for all fees received after the due date.
• Non-payment of fees may lead to cancellation of Admission.
• We do not accept payments in cash. For any payment made towards your program fees, you will receive a receipt authorised by the SP Jain Accounts Department.
• Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the School.

• Please refer to the School’s International Student Refund Policy.
• Please refer to the School’s Domestic Student Refund Policy. Note that this policy does not apply to international students studying onshore in Australia on a student visa.

• It is not mandatory for students to stay on campus in Singapore and Dubai but it is highly recommended.
• If a student wishes to, they can make their own accommodation arrangement.
• Housing through SP Jain will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• Housing fees for the (Academic Year Jan-Aug 2025) are to be paid by December 01, 2024. Housing fees cannot be paid per semester.
• Interest at the rate of 15% p.a. will be charged for payments received after December 01, 2024.
  
  
  • Insurance and Visa costs are indicative and may change based on the insurance provider and immigration authorities charges.

• Student housing fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.
• Accommodation will be made available 2 days before the start of orientation and up to 2 days after the end of the academic year.
• If a student requires housing during the semester/summer break, they will have to inform the School in advance and the School will try and accommodate the stay.
• There would be an additional cost for stay during the semester/summer break.
• The student housing fees do not include meal costs.
• Any student found violating the code of conduct in SP Jain’s accommodation may be asked to vacate the hostel premises without any prior notice and without refund of hostel fees paid.

Notes:

• Non-payment of fees may result in the cancellation of admission.
• All airfares are to be borne separately by students.
• Student life activities include curated industry visits, guest sessions, networking meets, and cultural, philanthropic, and social engagement events aimed at enhancing the holistic student experience.
• It is typical to spend approximately AUD 700 per month on food and other living expenses (subject to individual lifestyle).
• Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the school.
• Please note that we do not accept cash payments. For any payment made towards your course fees, you will receive a receipt authorised by the SP Jain Accounts Department.
• The Australian visa must be processed by the student. Details regarding student visas for Australia are available in Annexure 7.
• All fees must be paid prior to the commencement of the program or academic year.
