  • Liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for shipments and associated forwarding transportation
  • Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions
  • Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance
  • Develop and review policies, freight rates, procedures concerning customer relations and goods and services provided
  • Ensuring operational efficiency within the department – providing direction and feedback to the members and assisting with recruitments
  • Managing, motivating, and developing staff providing customer service
  • Planning and implementing after-sales services to follow up customers satisfaction on the service, modify and improve services provided
  • Liaising with other organisational units, service agents and customers to identify and respond to customers’ expectation
  • Handle the tasks of supervising shipping and receiving departments – well versed in the shipping incoterms (the terms of CIF, FOB, DDP and others) for shipment and payment arrangement
