What is the Singapore Scholarship Award?

This scholarship by SP Jain School of Global Management aims to support outstanding Singaporeans with bold ambitions and a passion for leadership and global business.

    (including tuition and registration fees)

  • Receive a bursary of SGD 5,000 towards travel and living expenses

Note: Course materials, global activity, visa, insurance and accommodation costs in Dubai must be borne by the student

Who is eligible for the scholarship?

  • The scholarship is open to Singaporean citizens who apply to the February 2023 intake or the June 2023 intake of the Global MBA program at SP Jain.
  • Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • Candidates must demonstrate an all-round excellence in their application and interview and meet the SP Jain Global MBA eligibility criteria as detailed in the admission process.

Admission Process

We are currently accepting applications for the intakes of 2023.

eligibility

  Eligibility

  • All applicants must have an undergraduate degree from a recognised university or other approved tertiary institution.

list-tick  Work Experience

  • All applicants must provide evidence of having worked after graduation on a full-time basis in a role that has been assessed by SP Jain as relevant to the course of study for a minimum period of 3 years.

list-tick  English Language Entry Requirements

  • All applicants must have completed their education as detailed above in English and must provide certified evidence to the School.
  • In exceptional cases where an applicant is unable to provide certified evidence, the Admission Director may approve self-attested copies of the completion of education certification.
  • Applicants who have not completed their most recent education qualifications in English are required to take any one of the following recognised formal English language tests and obtain currently valid minimum scores as below:
    • IELTS minimum score of 6.5
    • TOEFL iBT minimum score of 70
    • PTE minimum score of 60
  • Only test scores obtained in the last 2 years will be considered valid.

  Entrance Test

  • SP Jain requires candidates to take any one of the following aptitude tests – GMAT, GRE, CAT (Common Admission Test – offered in India) or SPJAT (SP Jain Aptitude Test) – and obtain the minimum expected test score as specified below to be considered for admissions.
    • GMAT: 650 or more (Appeared in last 5 years)
    • GRE: 320 or more (Appeared in last 5 years)
    • CAT: 80 percentile or more (Appeared in last 2 years)
    • SPJAT: 50% or more (Appeared in last 2 years)
  • Candidates may apply even if they have not yet taken the aptitude test or if their scores are pending. However, candidates will not be shortlisted for evaluation until they submit their final test scores.
  • Candidates who do not meet the aptitude test score requirements may be considered for interview subject to the decision of the Director of Admission/Registrar.
  • If you do not have a valid GMAT/GRE/CAT score, you can appear for the SPJAT.

  Evaluation & Interview  

As part of the final stage of applicant evaluation, all shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake:

  • An Essay and Case Analysis Discussion Paper
  • SP Jain "Business Creativity Test"
  • A personal interview at one of the School's campuses or online with a member of the School's academic staff. The interview is designed to assess the applicant's communication skills, analytical skills, aptitude and subject knowledge.

  Admission and Scholarship Decision  

Applicants are emailed an admission and scholarship decision approximately within 14 days after the evaluation interviews.
