SP Jain’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students (Intake of January 2022) visited the Centre for Incubation & Business Acceleration (CIBA) in Vashi, Mumbai, on April 7. The visit was a part of the Global Learning for the Microeconomics subject.
CIBA is a Technology Business Incubator instituted in 2016 and is accredited by the Indian government’s Department of Science & Technology. Their primary goal is to identify the potential of tech startups among their applicants and provide them with the required funding, advisory services and a networking platform to build their dream into a substantial reality.
Interaction with Mr Sagar Chandni (Head of Growth, Partnerships & Customer Success): An idea to entrepreneurship
The students got a chance to interact and connect with Sagar Chandni (Head of Growth, Partnerships & Customer Success), Prasad Menon (CEO) & Ishan Nadkarni (Co-Founder & CEO @ Impact). They learnt to appreciate everything about entrepreneurship - from the thought process and hard work of conceptualising an idea to entrepreneurship that goes beyond incubation.
The interactive Q&A gave them clarity on how to be an entrepreneur while working a 9-5 job. Simultaneously, they realised that entrepreneurship knows no bounds and is certainl not limited by age
