SP Jain Toastmasters Club recently completed its 39th meeting on February 27, 2024, where a diverse cohort of individuals, physically present and virtually connected, came together to explore the theme of Resilience.

As Toastmaster of the Day, Ms Swarnali Das from EMBA Batch 24 set the stage for an enriching experience, navigating through the agenda with grace and keeping the energy levels high throughout the gathering. The evaluators showed their commitment to the growth and development of the speakers by providing thoughtful feedback with a balance of constructive criticism and praise.

The speakers delivered prepared speeches that left a profound impact, highlighting the role of vulnerability and pushing boundaries in nurturing resilience. Toastmaster Caroline Laporte (EMBA - Chief Program Manager) introduced the word of the day, "Tenacity," igniting a sense of determination and persistence. The General Evaluator Toastmaster, Belinda Lee, provided feedback and insightful tips aimed at enhancing the overall quality of the club and meetings.

In appreciation of their remarkable contributions, accolades were given to Sarthak Rao (Guest) for delivering an outstanding Table Topic Speech, Toastmaster Shalini Shukla (Club President – EMBA Alumni) for her performance as the Best Evaluator, and Toastmaster Jhunilyn Ofiana (Club VP Membership – EMBA Program Coordinator) for delivering the Best Prepared Speech.

As the meeting neared its end, attendees departed with invaluable lessons in resilience and tenacity. SP Jain Toastmasters Club, through its emphasis on storytelling, constructive feedback, and camaraderie, will continue to foster personal and professional growth, enabling individuals to excel as communicators and leaders.
